چکیده

A chain of connected genes with activation-repression links is analysed. It is shown that for various promoter activity functions (parametrised by Hill coefficient) the equations describing the concentrations of transcription factors are perturbed completely integrable differential-difference of KdV-type. In the case of large Hill coefficient the proteomic signal along the gene network is given by a superposition of perturbed dark solitons of defocusing differential-difference mKdV equation.

Proteomic waves in networks of transcriptional regulators

The protein production for a gene regulatory network model with activation-repression links is analysed. In these networks this production depends on how proteins induce or repress the genes. Experiments show that networks of inducers or repressors exhibit bistability or oscillatory behaviour of protein production. Here we report a completely novel aspect, namely for different promoter activity...

The role of master regulators in gene regulatory networks

Gene regulatory networks present a wide variety of dynamical responses to intrinsic and extrinsic perturbations. Arguably, one of the most important of such coordinated responses is the one of amplification cascades, in which activation of a few key-responsive transcription factors (termed master regulators, MRs) lead to a large series of transcriptional activation events. This is so since mast...

A Study of Bit Condition for Generation Rx -Mode Waves: Interaction of Particles with Z/UH-Mode Waves

Interactions of charge particles with electromagnetic waves have important effects (linear and nonlinear) on the propagation of electromagnetic waves, and it can somewhat play a role in generation of the new mode waves. Besides, the particle energies can play an important role in causing instability in plasma. The values of parallel energy of the particles have been calculated so that they can ...

A Mammalian Organelle Map by Protein Correlation Profiling

Protein localization to membrane-enclosed organelles is a central feature of cellular organization. Using protein correlation profiling, we have mapped 1,404 proteins to ten subcellular locations in mouse liver, and these correspond with enzymatic assays, marker protein profiles, and confocal microscopy. These localizations allowed assessment of the specificity in published organellar proteomic...
